Jack White crowns Donald Trump “the worst American of all time”
Jack White has gone a step further in his critique of President Donald Trump, declaring him to be “the worst American of all time”.
White has never been one to mince his words when it comes to Trump, previously calling him “the worst President of all time”, and now, he’s extending that criticism to include every single American who has ever lived.
Taking to Instagram, White shared an image of Trump with “the worst American of all time” printed onto his forehead.
He captioned the post, “As I’ve stated before; he’s already got worst President in the history of America on lock, but I’m gonna go ahead and take the honor of pronouncing trump ‘The Worst American of All Time.'”
White then called on his followers to “copy and share this image and hashtag if you agree. (you don’t even have to say or type his name!)”. The hashtag that White attached is TWAAT, a convenient acronym for ‘the worst American of all time’.
Only last week, White condemned Trump for sharing an AI-image that depicted the president as Jesus, writing on social media, “Hey evangelical Christians? Remember that anti-Christ you been squawking about all these years and how he’d present himself as Christlike and bring about the end of days with a final war in the Middle East involving Jerusalem? Well… check out your boy now!”
The White Stripes founder also hit out at Trump immediately after the Iran War broke out, sarcastically taking to Instagram to share, “Don’t you love seeing him declare war on a country while wearing a trucker hat that says ‘USA’ on it? Behold the leader of the ‘Board of Peace’.”
He then highlighted, “Don Jr and Barron won’t have to fight or die, just other people’s children, so…invade and bomb away!”
After White labelled Trump “an embarrassment to American history” in 2025, Steven Cheung, the communications director for the White House, fired back by describing White as “a washed up, has-been loser posting drivel on social media because he clearly has ample time on his hands due to his stalled career”.
Since then, White has only continued to speak out against the Trump administration louder and more often.
His latest comments come off the back of his last-minute set at Coachella, as well as confirmation of a new world tour.
White’s UK run will begin with two shows at the Eventim Apollo in London in late August, followed by visits to Bristol, Newcastle and Belfast, before two shows in Ireland at the 3Olympia.
