President Donald Trump's eldest granddaughter, Kai, said she had a 'scary' experience while she was attending The Masters tournament at August National Golf Course in Georgia.

Much like her grandfather, Kai Trump is an avid golfer and is planning to play for the University of Miami when she goes to college in the fall.

Kai — the daughter of Donald Trump Jr and Vanessa Trump — is active on social media and shared photos of her trip to Augusta, but also noted that an allergic reaction ended with her seeking emergency medical treatment while she was attending the tournament.

“I was using hand soap on my face, when I was at Augusta, to wash off my makeup and I started getting these bumps on my neck,” she said in a vlog.

The rash reportedly got worse, forcing her to seek medical treatment. A doctor gave her a steroid to help manage her symptoms.

“Now, I don’t have a rash anymore but I had an allergic reaction to the hand soap on my face,” she said. “I have very sensitive skin. It was so, so scary.”

The rest of her trip appears to have gone smoothly. Rory McIlroy — who completed his career Grand Slam last year at the Masters — won again, finishing one shot ahead of Scottie Scheffler.

"The more golf I play, the better I’ll do. Getting experience. Miami gave me a great opportunity, and I’m really looking forward to that," she told Fox News in July.

She recently had to undergo wrist surgery that was deemed necessary if she wanted to continue playing "pain free," according to the broadcaster.

"Today, I underwent left wrist surgery to address injuries to the stabilizing tissues of my ECU tendon and damage to my fibrocartilage complex," she wrote in January. "I look forward to my rehab in the coming months, I am excited for the ability to play golf pain free."

She made her LPGA debut at The ANNIKA tournament at the Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida, in November 2025. It was a tough debut for the president's granddaughter; she finished last place on her first day, but improved by eight strokes on her second, finishing with a two-round score of 18-over 158.
