Services at Scotland's busiest train station have been disrupted after part of the station was flooded.
A burst water pipe on Argyle Street is preventing trains stopping at the station's low-level platforms. This affects services which connect stations west of Glasgow such as Balloch and Milngavie to Motherwell and Cumbernauld.
It is the second time this year
services have been halted
at the station because of flooding, following an incident in February.
In March, Central was forced to close for days after a fire on Union Street. The main entrance to the building remains shut due to
ongoing demolition work
nearby.

The services affected are still running, with passengers advised to get off at either Anderston or Argyle Street, or switch to the Glasgow Queen Street line.
Scotrail posted on social media: "There is flooding at Glasgow Central Low Level station due to a burst water pipe. Trains aren't stopping there until further notice - please use Argyle Street station instead.
"Services at Glasgow Central (High Level) are running as normal."
The disruption in February lasted for several hours.
