Wrexham co-owner, Ryan Reynolds posted on X "I think a defibrillator is the traditional fifth season gift?"
Ryan Reynolds has joked that a defibrillator would act as a sensible accompaniment to the new series of Welcome to Wrexham.
Disney+ unveiled the official trailer on Tuesday for the fifth series of the show from Wrexham FC co-owners Reynolds and Rob Mac.
The Hollywood pair have helped take Wrexham from non-league to the brink of the Premier League since buying the north Wales club five years ago.
"I think a defibrillator is the traditional fifth season gift?" Deadpool star Reynolds said on X while sharing a trailer showing Wrexham preparing for life in the Sky Bet Championship following three successive promotions.
"Would make sense for this show," he added.

Welcome To Wrexham has been renewed for a further three seasons
, meaning the show will run until 2029.
The FX series, which has highlighted stories of players and staff at the club as well as people in the wider Wrexham community, has won 10 Emmy Awards and two Critics' Choice Television Awards.

With one game to go in the regular season they occupy the final play-off spot, level on points with Hull City and one point ahead of Derby County.
Wrexham play Middlesbrough at home on Saturday, with victory likely granting them a play-off place, putting them two games from a final at Wembley and three from a place in the Premier League.
