A Fox News host appeared visibly annoyed on camera during a discussion about Jimmy Kimmel on Monday.
During the April 27 broadcast of Outnumbered, the panel were discussing First Lady Melania Trump's X post regarding Kimmel's recent joke about her being an "expectant widow." Taking to social media earlier that day, Melania, 56, wrote, "Kimmel's hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn't comedy— his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America. People like Kimmel shouldn't have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate."
Fox News host Emily Compagno was quick to slam Kimmel's mock version of The White Correspondents' Dinner, which he did during the April 23 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! It comes after it was reported that Melania appeared frightened when shots were fired inside the Washington Hilton ballroom on Saturday, April 25.

Compagno, 46, believed Melania was "right to call out leadership" before adding, "We always talk about this. Whenever we see this heinous viewpoint on TV or in the news, or in the newspaper, or a podcast, etc., there is a platform behind it enjoying the advertising dollars that the clicks on it."
Host Harris Faulkner then revealed the ratings of Jimmy Kimmel Live! and pointed out, “Our team at Outnumbered looked this up: his numbers are actually up."
Compagno groaned, "Ugh!" as she shook her head and shifted in her seat.

Faulkner claimed, "I don’t watch enough nighttime news to know if they’re even competitive with each other, or with the audience," before boasting her own ratings, "It’s 1.8 million a night, which is far less than most of the daytime programming on Fox.”
On April 23, Kimmel roasted President Donald Trump, 79, and his wife during his mock version of the Correspondents' Dinner.
The comedian seemed to get himself into trouble when he said, "Look at Melania, so beautiful. Mrs. Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow.”

“As you’re all aware, Melania’s a movie star now. Her documentary has a score of 10 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, which is a website named after her husband’s testicles,” he poked fun. “I want to congratulate you, Madam First Lady, on your huge accomplishment: the world’s first motionless picture."
Just two days later, on April 25, gunshots rang out inside the Washington Hilton as guests fled the ballroom, where hundreds of journalists and politicians — including Melania and Donald, Vice President JD Vance, and other senior officials — had gathered at the Correspondents Dinner.

During his show on the evening of April 27, Kimmel addressed the backlash he's received from the Trumps and defended his joke. He explained that it was "a very light roast joke about the fact that he's [President Trump] almost 80 and she's younger than I am."

"It was not by any stretch of the definition a call to assassination and they know that, I've been very vocal for many years speaking out against gun violence in particular," he added.
