Manager Marvin Bartley says keeping Livingston in the Scottish Premiership this season would rank as the finest achievement of his career.
The West Lothian side host Aberdeen on Friday (19:45 BST) and remain nine points adrift at the foot of the table with just four games to play.
They could suffer relegation this weekend if 11th-placed Kilmarnock better their result, when the Ayrshire club host Dundee United on Saturday.
However, Livingston have been boosted by ending a long winless run with a victory against St Mirren last weekend - just their second win of the Premiership campaign.
Bartley - who took over from David Martindale in February - drew parallels with his playing days at Bournemouth.
In the 2008-09 season, he was part of a squad that avoided relegation from England's fourth tier despite suffering a 17-point deduction after the club entered administration.
"It would be the best thing I've ever achieved in football," Bartley said of potentially guiding Livingston to survival.
