A body has been recovered from a remote loch in the Highlands during a search for a missing teenager.
Emergency services were called to Lochindorb near Grantown-on-Spey just after 17:00 on Thursday that a 17-year old boy was in difficulty in the water.
The search was called off at 22:15 on Thursday "due to nightfall and lack of light" but resumed on Friday morning.
Police Scotland said the body was found at around 11:25 and the missing boy's family had been informed.
A spokesperson said: "Formal identification has yet to take place but the family of a 17-year-old male youth reported in difficulty in the water around 5pm on Thursday, 30 April, are aware.
"The death is not believed to be suspicious and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal."
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS), Police Scotland and a HM Coastguard ground crew and helicopter were involved in the search.
