Sri Lanka’s Sumedha Ranasinghe won a silver medal in the men’s javelin throw at the Asian Throwing Championships held in South Korea.
He recorded a throw of 76.95 meters, marking his best performance of the current season.
The gold medal in the event was claimed by an athlete from Uzbekistan, while the bronze medal went to a South Korean competitor.
