Peter Sutherland is embarking on his final mission. The upcoming fourth season of
Netflix
‘s
The Night Agent
,
which began production today in Los Angeles, will be the series’ last.
Talk about the series possibly ending with Season 4 started circulating over the past few weeks. After a hot start —
The Night Agent
‘s first season broke into Netflix’s Most Popular English series list and stayed there for three years — viewership has slipped in Season 2 and 3.
According to sources, Netflix data showed that there was still solid interest among fans in getting another chapter of Peter’s (Gabriel Basso) heroics as a Night Agent, which led to the series landing a Season 4 renewal. Additionally, Season 3 was well liked creatively by Netflix executive, some considering it the best in the series so far.
