Stephen King has once again fueled his feud with Donald Trump and MAGA with his latest social media post.

The 78-year-old horror author took to social media to slam "Trumpaholics," noting that the president's second term "runs out in 988 days." Stephen has been a longtime, outspoken critic of Trump and his supporters, posting his criticisms on X for years and often comparing him to the villains in his bestselling novels, such as The Dead Zone and Under the Dome.

The horror icon's latest anti-Trump post comes after Stephen compared MAGA to 'pigs' as No Kings protests swept across the country. And Trump was caught on camera doing a shocking act to Melania at an inappropriate moment.

On Thursday, May 7, Stephen posted from his official X account, "MAGA supporters=Trumpaholics. What will you do when the supply runs out in 988 days?"

The post was met with mixed responses from fans and critics alike, with hundreds of people replying to the Carrie author's latest Trump takedown. One user commented, "I love that you’re so disturbed that you are counting the days."

Some of the novelist's supporters echoed his fiery post, with responses like, "Hopefully it runs out sooner than that. That mfer needs to be impeached and thrown in prison," and "I'm praying it runs out much sooner than that."

One fan quipped, "You're assuming the bus can go on driving for 988 more days with someone who is clearly impaired at the wheel," referring to ongoing concerns about the 79-year-old president's health.

Another wrote, "All that stuff will go away soon. I want some more philosopher King!"

One fan fumed, "They don't have common sense. No breakthrough will ever correct that demented mindset MAGA has!"

Some pro-Trump posters commented on the post, suggesting that Trump will remain in the White House after his term ends in 2028. One wrote, "I for one will watch you melt down for 8 more years."

Another MAGA supporter chimed in, taunting the author, "He's getting a third term if he's still sharp. We need to make right what was stolen from us in 2020. You didn’t think we were just letting that go and letting bygones be bygones."

This isn't the first time the author, who has penned dozens of bestselling novels like IT, Carrie, and the Dark Tower series, has hit out against Trump and MAGA on social media.

Back in October, he spoke out in support of No Kings protesters, saying they were "trying to save the country from a despot." He recently posted, "Dissing MAGA is like wrestling with pigs. You can’t win, and the pigs enjoy it" as rallies, marches, and protests took place across the country.
