Hollywood actor Samuel L. Jackson’s fans reminded him his ‘likes were public’ on social media after the Shaft star’s Twitter account appeared to like a number of X-rated videos

Samuel L. Jackson was accused of making an X-rated blunder as his Twitter account was caught liking explicit videos.

However, Samuel’s fans reminded him to be ‘more discreet’ on social media on his special day.

They pointed out everyone could see what videos the actor’s Twitter account liked – even X-rated ones.

One of Samuel’s followers tweeted the star saying: “@SamuelLJackson Hi mate letting you know your likes are public and everyone can see them.”

When asked what the videos were, a fan posted a screenshot of an X-rated film.

“Omg this is f*****g funny omg. I don’t think Samuel L Jackson knows his likes a public. Video is NSFW [Not Suitable for Work],” replied another.

Meanwhile, a fourth fan heaped praise on the actor, saying: “I think everyone loves him even more after this lol.”

However, Samuel’s account swiftly appeared to unlike the saucy footage, with a fourth person tweeting: “I’m so glad someone posted this. He went and unliked everything so I missed it. Lol.”

The Mirror has contacted Samuel’s reps for comment.

With films including Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown and Django unchained under his belt, Samuel is the third highest-grossing actor of all time.

This year, the star was given an Academy Honorary Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for being: “A cultural icon whose dynamic work has resonated across genres and generations and audiences worldwide”.

Samuel is not afraid to use his platform, tweeting a number of anti-Trump posts when the businessman was US President as well as giving a clear warning to the world during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Marvel actor told people to “stay the f*** at home” as he read a poem during an appearance on American talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2020.

Reading from a revised version of Adam Mansbach’s book called Go the F*** to Sleep, which was been renamed to Stay the f*** at home, the star insisted social distancing was the only way to stop coronavirus spreading.

The poem started: “The ‘rona is spreading, this s*** is no joke – it’s no time to work or roam. The way you can fight it is simple, my friends: stay the f*** at home.”

Other expletive-filled lines read: “Mother*****r it’s no time to gamble, look around, you’re not at a casino. Just stay the f*** at home as if your name was Trentin Quarantino.”

“Sure, you can still see your friends – use the mother****ing app on your phone. But unless you just ran out of groceries, please, stay the f*** at home.”

After the show aired, host Jimmy shared the footage on his Instagram account.

He captioned the plea: “The coolest man in quarantine joins us with an important & profane message.”
