According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Saudi Pro League outfit Al Hilal have made an official approach for PSG superstar Lionel Messi.

Messi’s priority, according to Romano, is to stay in Europe after contract talks with PSG have broken down for now. A return to Barcelona has been discussed, but the Catalan giants will still need to get their FFP checks and balances in order before they prepare a bid.

Messi disillusioned at PSG
Numerous French outlets are carrying reports that Lionel Messi is set to depart Paris Saint-Germain at the end of 2022-23. Sky reporter Kaveh Solhekol is also confident that the Argentine won’t be renewing his current deal with the French champions.
