Wrexham have won promotion back to the Football League for the first time in 15 years.

A 3-1 win over Boreham Wood was enough to seal the National League title on a day of high drama and emotion.

Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney were overjoyed in the stands as fans poured on to the pitch at the final whistle.

The owners were joined by fellow Hollywood star Paul Rudd, who earlier drank with fans at The Turf pub outside the ground.

Top scorer Paul Mullin grabbed the decisive goals that put the home team in front early in the second-half. Wrexham had gone behind after just 45 seconds when Lee Ndlovu's clever finish stunned everyone. Elliot Lee's header calmed the nerves when he equalised on 15 minutes before Wrexham got the job done after the break.

Star man Mullin scored a stunning first after cutting in from out wide before he put the cherry on the cake with a smart finish to make it 3-1.

Wild celebrations are now expected to go on long into the night.
