Apple is working on a new type of health coach: artificial intelligence.

The AI coach could help you improve exercise, sleep, and eating habits using AI and data from an Apple Watch to make suggestions and create individually-tailored coaching programs.

The tech, codenamed, “Quartz,” reportedly won’t be out this year, with a goal of release in 2024.

Quartz’s development comes alongside other initiatives from Apple to improve health services for their users. For instance, the iPad is getting its own dedicated version of the Health app as part of iPadOS 17.

They are also reportedly working on an emotion tracker and features to help users who are nearsighted.

These technologies would add to an impressive and growing portfolio of health-related programs offered by Apple.
