Okay, this will be of interest to a VERY SMALL number of people.
But over on LinkedIn, someone with a perverse interest in ancient history (hi Tim) asked if I still had copies of some UI design documents that I did for the now-defunct compositing package Shake.
So, see below for a lot of rough sketches from Back In The Day.
And, to be clear, many of these documents were created well after Shake was available for purchase. I didn’t sit down and design it all beforehand. As often as not, one of the developers (either Arnaud or more often for GUI stuff, Manu) would put together the initial interface based on general conversations and then I (and other team members) would beat it gently guide it into shape.
So please don’t assume these sketches popped de novo out of my brain with no previous context.
