Phil Parkinson says Wrexham will be ready for their crunch fixture with Middlesbrough after achieving their previous goal of taking the Championship play-off race down to the wire.

The Red Dragons were four points adrift of the top six with four matches left to play this season.

But, despite losing 3-1 to champions Coventry City, Wrexham head into their contest with Boro at Stok Cae Ras on Saturday, 2 May (12:30 BST) in sixth place.

"A few weeks ago we were four points adrift and the aim was to go right to the wire in the battle to get into the play-offs," said Parkinson.

"With over 45 games gone, we've achieved that. We're all set for next week."
