A Greenpeace protestor nearly crashed into fans just moments before France’s
Euro 2020
match against Germany on Tuesday evening.
Shortly before kick off, the activist could be seen flying overhead by paraglider at the Allianz Arena.
But as he descended towards the pitch his parachute caught one of the wires linked to the stadium’s spider camera, which gives a bird’s-eye view of the pitch.
That collision sent the activist drastically off course and he only narrowly missed spectators as he swooped over the stands in an attempt to regain control.
The activist quickly managed to level out and landed on the pitch near Germany defender Antonio Rudiger.
The paraglider took a rough landed and was helped to his feet by Rudiger before he was led away by security.

Can’t believe I just caught this on video. Parachuted into the stadium, got caught in the spider cam and nearly crashed into the crowd. Hope he’s ok!
