Although Karl Urban is at the peak of his popularity thanks to The Boys , in which he plays the role of Billy Butcher, he remains interested in reprising his role as Judge Dredd from the 2012 sci-fi action movie.
The Boys star is a big fan of the original comic book character and would love to see more adaptations of the original – even without his involvement.
“I certainly would be interested to revisit the character,” said Karl Urban in an interview with GQ. “There’s such a great depth of material there that was created by John Wagner and various writers over the years, particularly the stories revolving around Judge Death and lots of great stories. To me it doesn’t bother me if I get the opportunity to play Dredd again or if it’s someone else. I just want to see those stories.”
